Holosun or bust, there is no reason to spend the same amount of money if not more on alternatives when Holosun is proven. The Osights don't hold zero and vortex dots are just mid at best, almost all of their offerings are very outdated.
you might want to take a look at bushnell red dots before throwing your money down. I have an older RXS100 which I mounted on a shadow systems DR920. the pistol and dot have about 6000 rounds on them now and so far no problems. it's definitely on the lower end of the cost/reliability scale but it hasn't crapped out yet. it holds zero and the dot is actually a real dot and not a comet. I don't know if they are still on dealers shelves and I think bushnell upgraded their optic line. i bought it just to find out if a dot was superior to irons, and they are definitely better. I put a holosun 407c on my other pistol and will likely put the same 407 on the DR920 when the bushnell fails. the holosun dot is a bit crisper but not by much.
