Hi there
I have been researching for months and have decided to purchase an Alpha tactical scope. I was ruined the first time I looked through a Swarovski hunting scope. I like good glass, have a Z5 and a VX6 on my hunting rifles. Looking for a tactical scope upgrade for a 300wm, just to shoot gongs. Have had Bushnell and Sightron. I will only purchase a scope with a lifetime warranty. S&B and March are out.
Have looked at Pretty much every scope out there, Tangent Theta was my first choice but with a budget of under $3500 to my door, unfortunately they are out. I honestly though $3500 would cover any scope out there. Still find this hard to believe, would love to purchase a Canadian scope.
Would like to try FFP, narrowed it down to Razor gen2 4.5-27, then Nightforce is coming out with ATACR F1s soon.
The Razor is in stock, is this a proven scope? The Internet says it is? Also the Nightforce will be a new design, any concerns there? Are these the best bang for my hard earned dollars.
Just looking for feedback before I empty my wallet.
Thanks in advance
Weight is not an issue

Any particular reason why you'll only consider a scope with lifetime warranty? Are you expecting it to break?

Don't expect it to break, but why wouldn't I want a lifetime warranty for that type of money. Something I decided for hunting scopes a while ago, usually the better scopes this is standard, my Swarovski and leupold have lifetime warranties. Don't understand why some high end tactical scopes only offer 2-5 years?

Not necessarily so. Many people purchase the better products expecting to not need the warranty.I don't really worry about the warranty period on higher end Zeiss/Swarovski/Schmidt & Bender, it didn't factor into the equation on a purchase. It's your decision of course, but there are many threads on here of people needing Vortex's excellent warranty, I see very few if any on S&B's warranty, which is still 10 years by the way.
Just throwing an opinion out there. Myself, I wouldn't even consider Vortex if I was spending that much.
