Help me choose my mid level optic

The BEST mid-priced optic is the Lucid HD7 Gen III.

In my opinion it is better than any other optic that's been listed in this thread so far and it's really reasonably priced. The reviews on it are excellent. Extremely ruggedly built and holds zero after taking a beating. The only thing is.....I'm not personally aware of any dealers in Canada that sell them. If no one here has them for sale you have to find a licensed exporter to export it from the U.S.

OP was looking at 16X to 24X max magnification scopes, the Lucid would likely be a little under powered.

I'd likely take a used VX-3 over any of the other options presented. Say what you want about Leupold, but nobody can sufficiently better their scopes at an appreciable discount.

I checked out sightron, they sound great but the warranty seems a little dodgy about limited time and receipt. I've owned a few bushnells and been able to shoot a few vortex.

Does anyone have first hand experience with any Burris MTAC or higher magnification E1 or Fullfields?

It's looking like Bushnell is winning so far.

I'm keeping my eye on the EE.

I'd revisit that with Mysticprecision I'm sure it will be cleared up to your satisfaction.. Sightron is a great option IMHO
