So I've been hooked on the idea of a semi auto shotgun foe the last while, few months now, i really usually don't like shotguns, I've had a few single shots over the years and they were good to have when i needed them [small hobby farm], i have a disslike for hunting styled semi-auto shotguns and also pump shotguns, I'm not sure why but a rock interests me more then a pump shotgun.. maybe its the played out sound of them maybe its how common they are....

anyway i was looking at tactical semi auto shotguns, i started thinking tube fed semi so i can use different size shells and load on the fly and no mag in the way while carrying in hand or on my back.......but I'm the master of impractical #### that i personally think is cool.

so regardless of the pro's and con's, i have decided i want a mag fed semi for my shotgun,

i have searched around quite a bit and found some rifles in my price range under $700 [i have upped this over the last few days, it was 500 but for 200 dollars more steps me into a whole new level
]
does any one own any of these, and have any thing they can tell me to help me pick? they are all basically the same, but i do like aluminum and metal more then plastic
shot barrel, semi, box mag, 700 dollars, made in Turkey, 3" shells, 5 rounds, 2 mags.
i have found 5 i cant really pick from and im looking for opinions' personal experience and thoughts

Derya MK-10 VR101 Black 12 Ga Gen 1 $599
Kral Tactical Super Tec 12 Ga, Semi-Auto Shotgun $569
AXOR 12GA SEMI AUTO MF-1 BLACK $629

these two are on the list too, but they don't look anywhere near as good as the other three, but looks isn't everything, if they function great, even better then the others id pick it

USSG, Inc., MKA 1919, Semi-auto Shotgun $540
Uzkon BR99-CL3, 12 Gauge, Semi-Auto $549

Thanks

IMO*** The way I look at it,... If the Turkish manufacturers can't even produce reliable manual operated shotguns, I'm sure as hell not going to buy one of their semi autos!

Better off buying an tube fed semi from a trusted manufacturer, OR if u really want a mag fed, possibly try the PM5. My PM5 so far cycles 100%. Buts it's pump.

I own a Hatsan 12g semi and an Asena 20g semi. Both cycle anything I've used from birdshot to slugs with 100% reliability. You mileage may vary but I'm sold on them as being perfectly fine. The Asena is mag fed from Corwin Arms.

Well i read and watch videos on youtube it seems some people like them and they function fine, and some poeple dont, but it seems the people who like them actually own them and the people who dont, dont own them, im not saying thats the case for you but a general assumption i have made.

And IRG has the 1919 on for that.

LeducAb, thanks that was some info i was looking for. Doesnt point me in a direction but give me hope the shotgun i buy will cycle all loads. The asena was on my list but its just over budget, if i hear enough good things about it, id find the money.

IRG is USD, your only under $700 option is the newly priced Derya mk10 for $599

warrenlikesboats, yeah maybe so. Thanks its something to think about.

Only the 1919 was found at IRG, the others are canadian dollars or on the EE from venders. The 1919 was on the list but i dont overly like the look so finding out its USD ill pass. Thats probably why irg was the only place i found it in my price range.

Ok so i have narrowed down to three options, i really cant decide, so i asked each store a question or two about each rifle and based off how helpful the response was id buy from them, well turns out they are all great and were helpful. so that didn't help me pick.

basically they are the same gun if you look at them taken part. and each have their pros and cons

so i guess I'm asking, IF you were spending SOMEONE ELSE'S money and had to pick, which one would YOU buy.

i asked it that way so i don't get answers like "none of them"

personally out of these I would take the Axor, as that case would probably cost 100$ or more, and the door breecher plus full choke another 60-100. that being said I would want to make sure I could buy extra mags, also would be nice to have one that can fit AR parts for modding it.

well i don't duck hunt myself, but i can see how that's very useful to someone who does. so the 5 round mag will work fine for blasting ohh err umm....... i mean hunting...yes hunting. [no target shooting in the wood in Nova Scotia], Also i ordered the derya mk10 gen 1 last week and shipping info says it will be here tomorrow, once i get it all cleaned up and i try it out ill post the results and how i feel about it, a little review kinda thing. i went with 'the ammo source' for mine, they have free shipping in Canada on orders that big and pretty close so shipping was only a few days

and the reason i went with the derya over the others is, well its a 1000 dollar shotgun on sale for 599.

the Axor is a 629 dollar shotgun not on sale and it comes with all that cool stuff so im wondering if its really a 450 shotgun with a nice case, mags and chokes,

and the Kral Tactical Super Tec i think looks the best but i cant find any info or reviews on it at all, and the stores have a less then stellar description and basically no pics at all of them, a little effort on the stores part would have been nice, I'm pretty sure there is no one who actually owns one of these other then the stores.

I watched a vid from the shooting center I think it was. The guys derya wouldn't cycle light loads. Apparently the gen 2 does. Look forward to your review. Most axor vids aren't English

I've only got experience with the Derya. 2 months ago the mk10's were on sale for $999. Derya just announced the mk12, and now the mk10's are getting cleared out. I picked up one for $950 in Sept and thought it was a smokin deal.

I'm not sure if they've changed their offering though as they all used to come with a nice suede carrying case, (2) 5 round mags, (1) hunting mag, a side folding stock adapter, chokes, and a few other odds and ends. Overall a nice value for even a grand just a few months ago let alone $600.

After about 100 rounds mine was functioning better as well. It does like heavier loads to cycle the action more consistently. I found decent results in the first 100 rounds with heavy target loads.

Even with the 3 you're now debating between, I'm a metal receiver fan (and a fun vs practical fan) all the way and would've picked the Derya for that alone.

All the best with your purchase!

The Derya won't accept magazines from the AS-46 pump actions. The magwell has been modified.

The rest of the Turkish mag fed semi autos do.

(just going to leave that there and let you figure it out)

I exactly what you are getting at and id be all for it is i didnt already own the derya now, lol that woukd have helped my desision for sure, as all my shooting is on privite land and no crown land for 25kms
