yeah agreed..very high bore line...maybe they figured with regular capacity mags, it would offset the high set bore with lower down weight? As for mag release, I actually like it better than conventional spot..easy to use with or without gloves. The walther is very ergonomic, but I wasnt impressed with action or use of one...

there is alot to be said for the Sig.
 
I would recommend HK USP. The best thing about that gun is that it is virtually impossible to jam. I tried all kinds of ammo, including hollow points, and intentionally limp wristed it in an effort to induce a malfunction. I'm glad to report that my efforts were unsuccessful.
