Help me chose a flash hider

Agreed with a longer barrel those devices I listed to a good job at both. But my 10.5 had way more pop with the A2 than with my vortex, personally, with an SBR all I'm interested in is flash suppression which is why I went the vortex route. I tested the ATRS eliminator on a 7.5 and it had good compensation with complete flash killing abilities. The only trade off is the weight.

SOCOM adopted a Surefire flash suppressor for their rifles. The 4 prong version is what their SF uses. Only the 3 prong version is available to civvies. Canadian Tactical Cowboy Supplies has them in stock right now. They're reported to eliminate 99% of muzzle flash but have a slight twang like a tuning fork. I personally have a Knights Armament NT4 flash hider. Their Triple Tap would be great if I had that kind of money to spend...

B.E. Meyers 249F is probably the best flash hider I've used, and I've had a few higher end devices on my guns.

I've heard good things about the B.E. Meyers too. It's almost identical to the 4 prong Surefire F/H. Pretty sure the B.E. Meyers is in the NATO supply chain.

I would look at Iron Eagle Tac**cal for flash hiders
