Help me decide between a CZ 557 Range(r) Rifle or T3X CTR

I know this is like comparing apples to er, pears, but here goes.
I want a do it all rifle, but will realistically be shooting more paper than anything (I already have a t3 30.06 for hunting and a t3 .223 for target practice when the shoulder starts to hurt.)
Does anybody have experience with both or one of these rifles?
I'm interested in mid range target shooting, but don't see hunting past 200m
Are there issues finding scope rings for the Range rifle?
Will the rings on this rifle be ridiculously high in order to use both the iron sights and keep a scope mounted?
Is the 557 barrel not heavy enough to remain true after 5 rounds in succession (gets too hot)?
Is it difficult getting rings that fit a 557?
I am leaning towards the 557, but am intrigued by the T3X...
TIA

Not sure what caliber you're looking at but I have a CTR in .308. It's very accurate but the barrel does warm up after 10-20 rounds and groups can start to open up when it's hot. The CTR is a fantastic rifle as far as I'm concerned and the T3X stocks will only make it nicer. The CTR is also a tad on the heavy side for a rifle but I carry it around all day hunting and it doesn't bother me like my FNAR did. The 557 looks to have a slimmer barrel than the CTR and if you're looking at doing target work you might find it to warm up too quickly.

Thanks for that input, yes, in .308, I'm already a pretty big fanboy of the Tikkas, but drawn to the iron sights and wood stick of the ranger.

I have a CTR .308 as well and it is an accurate performer. However, not a big fan of the synthetic stock (this is a T3 not a T3X though) doesn't feel solid enough to me but you get used to it. A more solid stock would be great but add weight as well. I ended up putting it in a Cadex chassis in the end.

For the 557 cz ranger the top picatinny rail has a channel down the middle so you can use the factory open sights with a scope mounted. The picatinny rail allows for several choices in rings or optics. If you wish to remove the bolted on picatinny rail the receiver is machined for the 19mm CZ rings to mount to. You will not be using the open sights with this mount set up.

Thanks Sleeper. I have a 597 set up with see thru rings, so I can see the iron sights. The high scope doesn't seem to affect my accuracy much, or should I say, the rifles accuracy. I like having both. I thought the picatinny rail on the 557 was proprietary spacing as well, but if it is universal, then I am good to go.
