Help me decide which lower to buy (sharps vs aero precision vs Spikes Tactical)

lol. I'm pretty set on the Spikes tactical. Same as aero but the sweet paint job is worth the $5 extra.

One more question though, if I may. How common is wobble between upper and lower? I've been thinking about getting a Sun Devil ($140-150 usd) because they put tension screws in to eliminate wobble.

I'd assume that if I got a quality upper and lower there would be no wobble? If wobble is uncommon then I'll go with Spikes Tactical.

anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but since the lower is actually the part that has to be registered, I would imagine it to be difficult to import - similar to a handgun.

Your correct. Very difficult and cost inefficient to import. I'm guessing that the OP is unconcerned about the cost, or doesn't fully understand the implications of ordering a lower receiver from the U.S..

He mentioned that he's ordering / building in the US, not here.

I am ordering and building in the US but that does lead to another major question. I should probably start a new thread about it.

I'm going to move to Canada and I'm hoping to import the AR15 (w/o mags. I will buy them in Canada) and a Remington 870. I've not even looked into how difficult it'll be. It's a complex issue... I'll start a new thread for that.

Wrong! the 35% increase in cost simply gets you the Spikes logo. Spike's Tactical has officially disclosed that their lowers are manufactured by Aero Precision.

Unless the Spikes logo is worth 35% more to you, buy the Aero Precision.

As below.

ETA: The wobble plays no role in either reliability or accuracy, don't worry about it.

The price difference between the Aero and Spikes is $5 usd. The sharps (which I've been hearing is garbage) is $75 total - $55+$20 shipping.

I may just flip a coin ;)

The aero looks unpainted on surplusammo.com. The spikes, on the other hand, looks painted and just looks a bit better. For $5 more, I may go with the spikes.

I fail to see why folks are debating U.S. price points. It's like pricing out how I'd build an AK variant. No point, because it'll never happen.
I'm building and ordering in the USA. Importing to Canada is a much more complex question that I have posted in the General area.

I'm just trying to get pointers from other AR lovers.
