Hey I forgot I wanted to ask you a question about the finish on these shortys. Are they more black then grey this time around? I heard a rumor that they weren't as grey as the older ones. Any truth to that?

My shorty is lighter in color....more grey than my (2) 2009 polytechs

I never noticed that before. It's not like that on my other Norinco.

Are all the CanAm shorties that way, I wonder?

Thanks I see on the SA website it goes for $112USD...doesn't look like it comes with the modified handguard, guess you have to cut up your own. Anyone care to pass a verdict on this mount?
