Just trying to figure out exactly what I've got. It's a Savage Model 11 in .300WSM but I am trying to find out exactly which gun it is.

Accutrigger, Blued finish(shiney blued not the brushed matte finish), Detachable Mag, synthetic stock,3 position safety, I do not believe it's an accustock. No Open sites either so it is likely a package gun. I'm thinking maybe FCXP3? Although that gun shows as being matte blued...

Any other defining characteristics?

Any Ideas?

FCXP3 doesnt have the accutrigger likely a trophy hunter model 11. Just look on their website they have a million abreviations on their 11/111 line gets confusing lol.

Yeah, this is a little rediculous, i've gone through the website to try to figure it out and so far it seems like the there's no exact match.

I'm thinking there's got to be someone who has one.

It's pretty much a FCNS without the iron sites and no accustock as far as i know. I guess i could pull the action and take a look at the stock but i'd think that you can see the aluminum bedding block through the mag well.

F= synthetic stock
XP= combo
ML= muzzle loader
G= Hardwood stock
C= clip
B= laminate stock
P= police
V= long range
H= Hinged floor plate
NS= No sights
T= rimfire peep sights
AX= Adjustable muzzle break
L= Left hand
BT= laminate thumbhole

The problem is that this list doesn't really go far enough unless there are just simply variations.

FXPC = Synthetic Stock, Combo Gun, Magazine Clip.

That's all correct but then when i look that gun up it's got no accutrigger, matte finish on the barrel. My gun is accutrigger and smooth blued barrel.

Hahaha

Sounds like you have a model 11FCNS. F: synthetic stock, C: detachable mag, NS: no sights. There is nothing to denote Accutrigger, Accustock, number of safety positions, or barrel finish (matte, blued, camo). How old is it? If it's a few years old, it may have had a different code then what that gun would have today....

You can see the aluminum of the Accustock if you look in the gap between the stock and the barrel at the chamber end, and along the sides of the mag well.

Hahaha, I thought that to except no accustock.

The plot thickens. It's definately the satin, not the matte finish. While those features are not denoted in the name of the rifle they are noted in the rifle spec and i've gone through them all.

The only other explanation would be a slightly different than the spec they list on the website version. They dont have a serial number lookup do they?

you may have a model that may not even be listed on their website anymore.....they have been know to drop models or chamberings from time to time, I just learnt that they offered the model 12 BVSS in 7mm rem mag for a couple years.......

When I got my 111 3 years ago there were different variations of it, some with the Accustock/trigger and some without. You may have also bought one that was originally a package deal and they don't come with the Accu features either...... For all intents and purposes, you can say your rifle is the FCNS model.

I also get the impression their site doesnt accurately reflect what they sell. Try and find a left hand model 16 stainless/weather warrior with acu trigger in a left hand 325 WSM. I know they make/made them.
