My first 1911 I ever owned was a llama, 1911a1 I believe, it was a piece of crap when it came to shooting it, but it looked and felt like a real gun. I sold it and bought a nork 1911 from Armco, it wasn't the same, the grip was thin and it just didn't feel the same. I now have an itch to buy another 1911 but don't want the skinny grip version, I also don't have a ton of cash... So I'm on the fence about the marstar 1911a1 sport model (single stack) I'm pretty sure the grip is thin on this gun and I won't like it, or the nickel plated $449 double stack 1911 they have on there. But I read that the more expensive one doesn't have any decent aftermarketags that will work with it..... What are the differences between Commander/Government/Sport etc... Which one of these is the one I want? (fat grip/body)
