Help me find a Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2 ( FOUND ONE )

Well, alrighty then.
New member here was in search of above stated beauty.
Saw a grey one in the flesh, but wasn't overly impressed.........

New M-loks are landing now.
Happened to find one today.
They are extra pretty!

Tenda in TO listed one Thursday night, as a new arival.
Gone when I checked Friday morning.

Some just landed in Peterborough, @ Accuracy Plus.
Called last night & they just came in the door!

Wish I could get one now.
Probably be sold out quickly.............. ;)

Don't think they ship, so you may have to drive there, if you really, really want one.
Also, don't know how many they got..........

Bought some 00 buck, #4, a box of 3” slugs. Going to give my shoulder a workout next week.
I found about a 12" spread at 25 yards with Cylinder Bore (00 flight control, 9 pellet). It improved to an 8" spread with a modified choke.

Good to know. Pro lifter and couple more choke tubes inbound. Thinking of a getting a Mesa Tactical red dot rmr mount for my Holosun, so I can co-witness with irons. Btw thanks for the nudge when I was on the fence in buying the 1301 painsy, btw I love this fvcking shotgun(y)

Every now and again we all "need" that nudge. The 1301 is where it's at currently, and you got one hell of a deal. I'll also be going with an RMR optic, I'm sitting on a fence in that regard. I'd like a mount that doesn't interfere with the ejection port when overhand loading the chamber. It's not a big deal, but I don't need an optic knocking a shell out of hand when loading into the chamber quickly. Training around this 'problem' is always an option, but so is a mount that just moves the optic back to where the factory ghost ring is mounted.

I am aware of a mount for a pistol stock that moves the optic to almost the wrist, but a pistol stock creates other problems that I don't like.

This looks like the bee’s knees for use with a rmr https://scalarworks.com/shop/integral-mounts/sync-01/
I suppose an Aimpoint Acro would too. I already have a Holosun so scalarwork $200 mount seems like the way to go. F-me painsy your costing me money:ROFLMAO:

Tactical Ordnance out of Ontario makes a very nice co-witness mini mount - I have one with a 509T and love the form factor of it.

$95 which seems like a screaming deal.

A great mount, and nice and low, but see where the optics are mounted right above the ejection port? This is a problem when reaching over with left hand to drop a shell in...the optic is sort of in the way. If it were mounted back where the OEM rear sight is, the ejection port is wide open for feeding shells.
I'm banking on someone figuring this out sooner than later. Then I'll buy.

Ok, I see what you mean single feeding using your left hand for competition style shooting etc. Maybe rotating the gun 90 degrees to facilitate dropping a shell in might work, not sure. Sadly tactical and competition days are long gone so optic position not an issue for me. Gun is for ####s and giggles. I wonder if the 3 gun boys use this shotgun with the optics configured as mentioned? What would tickle my pickle is using this for hunting hogs from a chopper in Texas:)

I think I'm having a stroke? Or, perhaps JoePet is a schizophrenic?
Well, couldn't/didn't see these replies until now. New memeber here, so some functions were restricted 1st few days.

    • Management:
While there is no cure, schizophrenia can be managed with medication and supportive therapy, (such as buying new guns) to improve symptoms and quality of life. ;)
