So I bought an EOtech for my UTAS but the problem is I love it on my AR to much to want to put it back on the shotgun. The issue I'm having is UTAS shotguns don't come with any irons its just a bare rail right now. The iron's cost around $150 but I'm terrible with irons so I was hoping the maybe just spend an extra $100 or so on a different optic for my shotgun. I live in a small town so its hard for me to drive into a city and find a good selection and the stores around Edmonton only ever seem to have half a dozen optics at a time and most are over $1000. I was hoping the experts here would lend a hand in my hunt. So far the only thing I found that I would consider in my price range is a vortex from the shooting edge down in Calgary. I've never looked through a vortex optic before and I'm nervous about it holding up on my shotgun.
This is the optic I've been eyeing so far VOR SPARC Optic Red Dot http://theshootingedge.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16_45&products_id=1661
Anyways I appreciate all help as always. I'd like to keep my budget under $350, schools coming and that means tuition.
