Help me find what rifle this bayonet would fit, please

My Grandfather gave me three bayonets before he passed away. One was for a Ross rifle, one was for Enfield No.1 mkIII but the last was a little different. It was made by Wilkinson London, the barrel ring and the locking lug clamp are on opposite sides where as the Enfield they are on the same side. Any help would by appreciated.

fascinating. This is very cool, Thanks for your assistance. I'm glad I took the time to oil and display these bayonets in shadow boxes on my wall. Except on Nov 11 when they come out to dress up the Enfields for the Remembrance day ceremony.

I believe that bayonet is for a Lee Metford rifle............

1896 would originally be for a Magazine Lee Enfield Mk.I

Bayo would also fit the Lee Metford Mk.I and II. Some of the Martini Metford, Martini Enfield rifles. Martini Enfield and Metford Garrison and Horse artillery carbines. Lee Enfield New Zealand carbine and Lee Enfield and Metford Royal Irish Constabulary carbines.
