Its wearing bishop furniture but i cant tell what make/model it is

All i know is its .303 brit but has a Mauser style action???

Also what would it be worth would be cool

Thanks a bunch guys

It's a heavily sporterized P14 Enfield. The rear of the action has been extensively re-profiled with an unusual aperture sight installed. Unfortunately the stock is split behind the upper tang of the action and the split extends well back into the grip area. The last pic appears to show a similar split behind the trigger guard. The stock will need to be repaired or replaced and the action re-bedded. It has value as a sporting rifle or parts source. Bore condition would be a big factor in determining value.

Purple is right. The thing is it has been quite well done when you compare it with other bubba attempts to sporterise a milsurp.

That rear sight is quite innovative and it's only drawback is that it isn't adjustable for elevation. That can be done by replacing the front sight with lower or higher profile blades. Those cracks are indicative of the action screw pillars not being included in the rebuild and because of mishandling or compression the wood has cracked. Getting that rifle to shoot well with a stock in that condition will be next to impossible.

If you decide to glass bed the action, you should replace the pillars and work some glass into the cracks as they can still spread and cause issues.

I wonder how the smith got that sight in there?? Must be a two/three piece system. Never seen another like it. Very imaginative. Nothing beats a fixed sight that shoots to point of aim.

Depending on bore condition it's worth between $75 to $150.

I too am intrigued by that rear sight, not something bubba did.

P14 - Patt’n 14 – Pattern 14 are all correct.

purple and bearhunter have given good info, nothing more for me to add.

oh and you have an SKS in a tapco stock under the table... :)
