I was given this rifle probably 10 years ago by my uncle who has since passed, and I would like some more info on it. It says J.G Anschutz GmbH Waffenfabrik. Ulm/D. west germany on the opposite side of the bolt action. Numbers 833777 infront of all the other info I previously listed. Its a ten shot bolt action with a clip. It also says canadian industries limited monteal canada on the top of the barrel. Its got to be the most accurate .22 I have ever laid my hands on and I usually refer to it as my ''sniper'' .22 due to the amazing shots I have made with it. Anyone know the model of this and maybe a ball park value of some sorts. Its in very good condition.

I could be wrong, but I think all those CIL-imported Anschutz rifles were the 64-action. They are a good little rifle, for sure, as you've attested to. Now, imagine that they make a better one. :) The 64-action rifles were their low-end.

Does it look like the bottom rifle?

Yes it looks like the bottom one but no checkering on the stock. I love that gun, just find it weird that they dont just stamp the model number on the barrel. The funny thing is, my uncle who gave it to me has three grown kids that had no intrest in any of his guns. They gave us on old .303 enfield and single shot cooey with a larger than normal stock on it.

Also there is a 70 with a tree branch looking stamp behind it on the barrel

This tree Branch is the stamp from the German beschussamt Ulm the 70 explained the Year When this was done.
Each gun in Germany needs to pass the beschussamt. They fire one round with 30% higher pressure to make sure the action and barrel holds withstand

Does anyone know somebody that deals in parts or accessories for these Anschutz/CIL rifles? I have a repeater with one five shot magazine and I'm afraid of losing it and not being able to find another one. Any help would be great.
