Help me lighten up my remington 597 trigger

Hi to all out there can any one please tell me how to lighten up the trigger pull on my rem 597 any help is greatly appreciated thanks in advance cheers,

Yes! It lightened and smoothed what was already a good trigger pull, but now it's better. Went from about 5 lbs to just under 4 lbs.

The other thing I did was put it into a Boyds Pepper Laminate Thumbhole stock (it looks like they're no longer produced though ).
