Help me love my m305.

well, glad that is sorted out.

I wonder what is up with the mag causing the action to get stuck.

What mags do you have? Also, you're not riding the charging handle on its return, are you?

Nope been very busy lately. All I've done since testing it out is modify the rail I have in hopes that it's out of the way now. Haven't tested that yet. Just hoping that maybe I wont have to spend money on another rail since I have one already.

Rail? I thought the scope rail wasn't the issue with the bolt sticking

The rail the gun came with was cause the ejected casings to get stuck in the bolt.

I did have a case stick get caught in the test with no rail but it was much better.

So does the bolt ever get stuck without a casing being involved?

I know it's a little 'bubba', but I just couldn't bring myself not to try and make it useful. If it doesn't work out then I will order one from m14.ca. The scope is just a 1-4x24. Haven't tried it out yet since modifying it.

What do you think?

The only issue that persists is the bolt not wanting to close that last bit when you load a round. It's not every time, but it seems the bolt is a lot harder to cycle with the magazine in the well. For now I think I have to put some rounds through it and see if it keeps acting up.

Is your op rod rubbing against the scope mount? My friends 10-22 had similar issue because of this. Judging by the pictures it seem to stick out a little bit. Maybe having the mag in is give just enough extra resistance to stop the bolt from closing?

The cut out for the roller in the op rod also greased?

Also, does the bolt seem to stick on a full mag only or at any time?
