help me make a choice please

I am a big Savage fan as well. It's rare to see stock rifles that shoot sub 0.5 MOA but I've run into two Savage 223s that reliably perform at this level (with reloads). For a value oriented precision rifle the Savage's are hard to beat. There are no guarantees that any rifle will shoot but all brands have their duds and their winners. I think that you have good odds with the Savages.

ok, one more to throw into the mix.

Ruger American Predator.

It checks all the boxes(mag fed, medium tapered hammer forged 8 twist threaded barrel, nice trigger, railed, very low price) From what I've read, its a really great shooter, even from those who don't like it. No one can fault it for shooting well.

They say it has a cheesey stock, but after a while, one could put a Boyds on it.

what say you?
