I've owned a set of medium height Burris Signature Zee 1" rings in matte finish for a couple of years now and I really like them. The problem is that I want to buy the same thing only in a high mount.
The difference between Burris Signature Zee rings and Burris Plain Zee rings appears to be that the signature series uses the Pos-Align inserts. OK, I definately do not want the plain zee rings. Easy peasy.
Whoa! Not so fast. RussellSports lists "Pos-Align Standard rings" and "Pos-Align Zee rings", but nowhere does it list the elusive Burris "Signature Zee rings" of yesteryear. To make matters worse, the "Pos-Align Zee rings" only come in medium height.
Any chance that Pos-Align Standard rings are the new name for what used to be known as the Signature Zee rings?
If Burris didn't make such a good product, I wouldn't even bother trying to decode their stupid naming convention.
Any Burris experts out there?
