Should I pull the trigger and buy the CC SA20 or should I do the sensible thing and wait for the CC MRR?. I'm trying to be very patient here but it's exam season and I feel like I need a new black rifle by the end of this month for the sake of my mental health.

IMHO, the MRR. Unless, you have any nostalgia for the C7 or attachment with the CF, then SA20.

If SA20, get it right now, the distributor is now (permanently) out of these limited Ed rifles, and there are only a couple left on store shelves.

Th MRR will be available for some time to come, but will be a better rifle.

Solid points but it still doesn't make my decision easier :p. While I have no attachment with the CF I have to admit the sa20 is an inherently cool limited edition rifle that we will probably never see from CC again. The MRR may well be the better rifle and has a lot of the features (monolithic free float upper with mlok) that people want from their ar-15s in a standard configuration. As of right now I'm 50/50 between the two some days I favour one more than the other, there a whole bunch of other considerations such as optics and ammo that need to be factored in as well so it would be helpful if CC released some more concrete info about the MRR. I've been patiently waiting for a a year now to get into the AR game so i can wait a few more weeks to make a final decision.
