This is only my opinion! Most new rifles will shoot MOA so pick one with a good trigger and one that fits.

Because it offers excellent terminal ballistics, comparatively low recoil, it's flat shooting, inherently accurate, and in a long action Tikka T3 you might as well use a longer action cartridge. It's also a time honoured, "classy" calibre and suits a Scandinavian rifle

Tikka T3 synthetic/stainless... pick a calibre. Personally, I would go with 6.5x55, or something vanilla like 30-06 or 308.
A shooter out the box. Well made. Upgradeable.

Good call on the 6.5x55 although unless you reload you'll have a harder time finding ammo for it than you would for something more generic like the 308.
