Help me pick my first bolt action rifle please.

Than You

Just wanted to thank you guys for taking time to give me advice. It helped me get my ass off the line and buy a bolt action and I considered what was said.

So I am now the happy :) owner of a Stevens 200 with a Bush 4200 4x16. I reckon I went with practicality. Shes a little beauty.

Thanks again.

Congratulations Warren!! You will love it. The trigger will smooth with use as will the bolt. You can find info online how to adjust the trigger, or send a PM!
What caliber?? And that is a great scope too!
Great choice......:)

I haven't owned too many rifles, but I have owned a few remington models and a few tikka's.

The Tikka's have never let me down, very decent rifles.

With the rifle and scope you have chosen, you will have no problem accomplishing the goals you laid out in your first post. Enjoy your new rifle.

Anyone looking for a nice 223, you should take a look at the Sabatti Made rifle sold by Frontier Firearms. They are an excellent little rifle with a Mini action. You won't be disapointed.

Being a Canadian your first rifle should have been a bubbaed Enfield. :D

But congrats on the one you got. :)

Calum,
Thanks for the congrats. Its just my first bolt action. I have a few other rifles with different actions. But I do have a lot to learn. I thought I had a left hand gun for a few seconds until I realised I was putting the bolt in up side down. :D

Oh and I'm not Canadian but I do have a bubba'd SXS if that helps. :D
