Here is what I've got in mind for my G22:

Titanium striker
3.5lb connector
oversized mag release
overside slide stop lever
poly mag well

MAYBE: stainless steel frame (havent looked into legalities about getting these frames in canada because theyre considered a firearm

MAYBE: recoil spring kit, do i need 5 adjustable levels of springs?

What i need to know is the following:

Do the "mods" i have work well together? is there something missing? what is a MUST HAVE for a glock, or any gun owner? Im relativly new to handguns, but with that said i do know a decent amount about guns. Ive ordered the GLOCK customization book and another book with EVERYTHING glock related in it, but you guys, the shooters, know best.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and of course ill get pics up when im done with her :) :)

I ended up removing the oversized mag release 2 days after putting it on. It was a stupid waste. The normal striker is fine. The disconnecter and sights are probly all I would pimp. My 2 cents.

When it comes to pimpin' you should probly get a 1911....as pimpin' ain't easy.

Everything in a Glock have to be balanced.

Forget the Titanium firing pin - they don't last that long.

The connector, mag release and slide stop lever are factory available.

The poly mag well isn't needed, but if you like it then go for it.

IMHO, Extended slide stop is a waste, but the extended magazine release (Factory part, $3.50) is a must.

I'd skip the magazine well, but that's just me. Buy the factory 3.5lb connector ($19) and the factory NY1 Trigger Spring ($4) to help with the trigger, takes the mush out.

Other than that, ammo - you've already got enough mags, now load them and hit the range.

If you've got the factory plastic sights, ditch them for something else - if they're the factory night sights, keep them.

I don't like the oversized mag release. I have one on mine right now been on there since my IPCS days. I find it sharp edged and pokey. I would trim the spring of the oem one if really want light drops. Myself ? I would keep the stock one.

Disconnect is key. Maybe some grip tape but other than that shoot the damn thing!

I bought my first Glock (a 17) and shot it, and shot it lots.
After having it and learning to shoot it as a production model gun, I wanted to "upgrade" it.

So I put/changed;
- Marine spring caps
- 3.5 connector
- Titanium saftey plunger
- Titanium striker
- Ultimate trigger stop
- over sized mag release
- over sized slide stop
- night sights
- grip tape
- (a 10 pound?) recoil spring and stainless steal guid rod. I use the factory one though.
Polished the sear, feed ramp and the connector.

Was any of this stuff needed? No, GLOCKS work perfect out of the box, period.

It's all basically what YOU want to do to your personal firearm.
