I have owned this old gun for 0ver 30 years and have shot it only a few times. It's time to let it go.You guy's already ID'ed the rifle as a East german refurb. BNZ 1944.It's numbers don't match. The bore looks bright and has strong rifling. It has some pitting on the buttplate. The ammo is 89 rounds commercial soft point[40 dominion; the rest imperial]138 rounds of Milsurp ball [65 rnds in stripper clips]

Unless it's a local sale, you will find the ammo isn't worth shipping anywhere.
Ammo you could probably get 50 to 75 cents a round for if it's all reloadable and non-corrosive.
$350 or a bit more for the gun.

The Russian Capture K98's sell for $375 to $425 in Canada.

Being an East German K98, try more like $550 to 600.00+ as yours
looks pretty nice, as the Norwegian K98's sell for $695.00 at P&S:

(PS871)- Norwegian Mauser 98K, cal. 30-06 Gov., BNZ Dated 1941, Former WW2 Werhmacht issue rifles rebarreled in Norwegian arsenals to 30-06. No cleaning rods. Similar to the one in photo. Overall very good condition, $695.00 Can + shipping. (Canadian F.A.C. or P.A.L. required)

Shop around for prices before you sell! You don't want to give it away.

I agree with coyote ugly, that rifle is worth more than $350 on todays market, especially if the bore is as nice as the outside. That pitted buttplate is the only factor against it and as it's unnumbered it could be easily replaced. $500-$600+ would be fair and in the ballpark. Yes a lot of people will disagree, but try to find another that is up for sale, especially in southern BC. bearhunter

You see a lot of low ballin' on prices at times. Always good to check around and not rush into selling.
