As you can see its already been drilled before, what would I need to do/buy to scope this rifle?

Probalby just a Weaver T-01 base and some tip-off rings (about $25 worth of stuff).

My only additional comment would be, that becuase of the recoil in a 303 (as opposed to the 22LR that tip-off rings were designed for), I use B-Square's airgun rings becuase they have two screws on each ring where you clamp it to base (makes it easer to torque it down really tight) as well as a screw that runs down through the center of one of the rings into one of the holes in the Weaver T-01 base that you can use to insure the rings don't move during recoil. Really, any airgun ring would probably work pretty well, as most have a similar design to the B-Square's.

Best of luck,

i bought a To-1 weaver dovetail rail.... will screw right onto the receiver.... the bolt pattern is present on your rifle already.
i took the TO-1 dovetail rail and had my gunsmith make me a proper weaver rail. He duplicated the hole pattern and cut a small relief underneath at the back to seat on the charger guide (where the single hole is at the back), charged me 40.00 :)
cost me 20.oo for the TO-1 with screws included.
I'll send you the TO-1 i have with charger guide spacer in package with instructions... p.m. me if interested.... all you will need is screws

Your safest bet would be to bring it to your gunsmith. Most likely he will have the right stuff already and you will be able to see it fit. Plus, there will be no delivery and postal cahrges, so it may be even cheaper than E-bay. Oh, and you will have someone you can blame later :)

The rifle is drilled and tapped for a Parker Hale one piece base part # 24...very nice set up....uses PH 19mm dovetail rings....base is hard to find...lots of rings around....I worked on more of these than I care to remember. I'll send you a PM. Ron
