Help me value some estate guns.

I'm attempting to help with selling off a friend's estate and need to figure out some current values. If you knowlegable guys could comment with pricing it would be appreciated. The guns are not being offered for sale as of yet, so please no offers to purchase. thanks.

1. American Historical Foundation, chromed, engraved SAA in 45 colt. Italian production. No barrel, grips or mainspring.

2. Webley Mk IV 38 S&W snubbie. 2.5" barrel Very nice shape.

3. Colt Bankers Special 22 revolver. 2" barrel. 90%+ condition

4. Uberti SAA. 5.5" 357 mag, incorrect grips. 85-90%

5. Colt Police Positive. 32 long colt. Ivory grips. Marked TPF 65% blue.

6. Webley Mark IV. 22 cal, 7.5" Non matching numbers. sloppy lockup.

7. Merwin Hulbet 32 7 shot. 70% nickle

8. Uberti SAA frame and cylinder, 45 LC/

9. Colt SAA, 7.5", 32 wcf, reblued, very nice, 1902 production.

10. S&W (looks like a victory?) 32-20 double action, 4" barrel, reblued/replaced barrel.

11. Colt SAA, 7.5", 32 wcf, reblued, very nice, 1903 production.

12. Webley & Scott 6.35 auto pocket pistol. restored. very nice

13. High Standard HD Military, non functional, missing parts.

14. Marbles Game Getter. 44/22, vernier and leaf sights, early production. 80%+

15. Marbles Game Getter 44/410/22, late production 80%+

16. Colt New Service, 455 Eley. Modified sights, refinished, RAC marking.

17. High Standard Supermatic Citation. 22 short. mod 102 70-75%

18. High Standard Supermatic FK101 22 LR. No mag, 70%

19. Ruger New Model Blackhawk. 30 Carbine. 7.5" barrel, 90%+

20. Walther P38, grey metal finish, appears all orig. Non matching mag. Very good.

21. Ruger New Model Single Six. 32 H&R mag. 75%

22. Colt 32 Automatic. (1903?) Restored and nearly perfect condition. High gloss blue. 85%+

23. S&W 16-4 32 mag Hogue grip, 8" barrel. 80%+

24. Webley and Scott 32 auto. cracked, chipped grips, 65%

25. Webley 38 parts gun. Missing pieces.

26. Webley Mark V frame.

27. High Standard HD Military. 22LR, screws missing, loose.

28. Webley Mk IV commercial. 38 S&W. 4"

29. Webley Mark IV 38, war finish 5" 80%+

30. Webley Mk VI 65%

31. Enfield 38 1934 #2mk1 75%

32. Webley Mk VI poor lockup. 65%

33. Colt 1911. Ithaca marked stripped frame, poor, pitted.

Although I'm familiar with some of these guns, it's really very difficult to assign values without examining the gun. Appearance counts for a lot, and there's always the question of how well any gun functions. At the very least I'd need a bunch of pictures. If you want to send me email (david.meyer@eastlink.ca) with lots of photos showing the outsides and insides of any of these guns, I'd be happy to comment. The guns I could comment on are 7., 12., 13., 14., 15., 20., 22., 24., 27., and 33. But it doesn't really sound like a realistic project. and you could probably do as well by consulting the published guide of handgun prices or by looking at various dealers prices on line, and save yourself some money (doing appraisals where sales are going to result usually involves a fee). You've got a pretty big job to do, with many "prohibited" guns. Good luck with it, however you decide to go.

All of them are completely worthless.
Send them all to me right away, and I'll dispose of them for you.

Seriously though, that's a pretty neat collection.
Unfortunately, many of them are on the banned list so not that many people will be able to bid on them.
 
gun values

Very hard to value anything with out seeing it, but my ideas,
BTW , when you say restored in the gun business, that usally means
reblued and that always is not good on collector guns, on shooters,
depends on the quality of the work.
1 know idea, 2 2.5" barrel, cut?? if orignal 200-300, 3- 400.
4 350.oo, 5- 300.oo, 6- 200.oo, 7- 100-150.oo, 8- ? 150.oo
9-??????800-1000.oo, 10- not a victory in that cal. 150.oo
11, see 9, these have to be checked for a price, depends who replued- Factory?= than 1500.00
12- reblued? 200.oo???^/, 13-50-100.oo, mag is 50.oo; 14- 1000^, 15- 6-700.oo , complete w shoulder stocks?
many times these are missing
16-? 3-600.oo?; 17- 300.oo with mags, depends on type of barrel, and if factory ordignal, I am guess it has conversion kit
on it, supermatic citation would have came with 22lr barrel and slide.
18-150.oo; 19- 4-500.oo? 20-? 500.oo?, depends on the numbers, marks.
21- ? 500.oo, 22- Reblued?? 150.-300.oo ; 23 ? 400.oo ( I am not up on newer S-W)
24- 200.oo; 25- 50-75?; 26- ?Condition? 100.oo; 27- Mag? 100/150.oo
28- ? 250.oo; 29- 2200/250.oo; 30- 300-400.oo; 31- 150.-200.oo; 32 -250./3?
32 ? 25-50.oo, depends if it is shootable.

Hope this helps you a bit, these are retail per piece guesses on my part with out knowing
what you have , lot price would be another matter
Quite a bit of this will be 12-6 class

Thanks marshall. The 2 colt SAA's are both prohib due to caliber (32-20) And I doubt the reblue jobs were done at the factory. I've had a couple people suggest that due to their 12/6 status they're likely only worth in the $250-500 range despite being very nice guns....

Disagree... Colt SAA's are highly collectable... Think Luger !

The downside is the fact that they were reblued, that said you could get a lot more then $250.00 for the non prohib parts alone i.e. grips etc. Me thinks someone is trying to get a deal ;o)

As well you can get the Colt SAA's serial number and call 1-800-962-COLT. The phone service is available for first generation SAA's up to the 343,000 serial number range and the fee is $150 which includes the letter of in two to three weeks. Colt has very good records on these guns, if they happened to been sold to someone notable or a notable group, then $$$, even with the re-blue !!
 
Colt Banker's .22 (#3?), like all of these, depends on condition. Poor = $400, good = $500+, VG=$650 and excellent $800+ prohib or not. Highly collectable too.

You will get less as a "collection" than you will individually, even if you give some away. Agreed on the .32-20: At auction, these fetch well over $1000 in average shape.

The bankers special is virtually new condition. It may be unfired.
