hi all, going to start loading 223, trying to figure out a good projectile weight to go with & looking for experienced input. the rifle is a 14.5" barrel, norc, 1:9 twist, just for plinking & bringing out newbies for the fun & kill the stigma of the oh sooo scary AR15 lol range would be 60-100m max, going to try CFE 223 for powder with CCI small primers, also if anyone has a trusted source for projectiles that would be much appreciated!

+1. 55 grain bullets is good for 1:9 though I will say that out of my 16" 1:9 barrel 62 grain seems to do a bit better.
55 grains is my recommendation though.
I would strongly suggest 55 grain pills (Campro are excellent) and I too would recommend CCI 450 primers no matter the powder you use. CFE223 seems to be good stuff from my limited experience with it. Flows like poop through a goose in a powder measure too.
