I was hoping someone could help me with a scope mounting issue. I have a bushnell 9X scope worth about 100 buck that I want to mount on my 22. The 22 is grooved for a scope but the rings that came with it aren't high enough and the scope bumps into the barrel before I can attach it. Are there any kind of cheap solutions to raise it up a bit and where can I order something like this from?

Thanks :)

EDIT: After some searching around would I be correct to buy rings that obviously fit my scope in a, "High" format? Is that what they mean when they are labeled high med and low? Does that describe the height above the rifle that the rings raise the scope?

Scope rings are most commonly sold in low, medium, and high configurations. It sounds like you just need to look for some higher rings.

Cool thanks Savage... It's my first firearm and I'm a little clueless to some of the finer points. I've been using a 20 buck 4X tasco that came with it and I'm stoked about getting the bushnell on to see what I can make it do. :dancingbanana:
