Help: my Rubber Thing went splat on my GSG .22lr

Try this for sure, the dlask buffer caused me a ton of light strikes due to the fit. Changed back to the stock and the problem went away.

I've been using the 1/4R washer from Home Hardware on a GSGPro full steel guide rod and GSGPro recoil spring for quite some time. Zero issues with light strikes, FTF or FTE that are caused by the gun. Still get the odd round in cheap bulk packs that don't go off.. Still prefer to feed the GSG with Blazer.

I think I must have got a lemon, or I'm just too darn hard on my GSG! At the range a couple days ago, pistol goes BOOM!! Something Flies downrange.... I pull the trigger, nothing.... I check the front, and I'm missing half my thingee that holds in the spring/rod/bushing (sorry, I'm really bad at part names) .... sent an email to BlueLine, they gave me a phone number to call,
F A N T A S T I C service once again. I cannot say enough good things about the guy I spoke with, sorry cannot recall the name, but absolutley exceptional service.

Was the gun used? The first batch or so had all the problems you described, but I thought that was all pretty much fixed.

Wasn't used (as far as I know), was bought from a contributing dealer - don't know how long it was sitting in inventory though? Is there a way to check the pistol for manufacture date?
