I just bought a Safariland 6004 dropleg holster for my M&P 9mm from Dave's Surplus (see link above) and I LOVE it! The hammer lock mechanism is a work of genius...
 
Bob McGillvary was at the Dugald gun show this weekend and he had a couple of Blade tech holsters for the M&P. I think he is from Dryden.
 
If you're going to use the M&P for Duty Pistol, remember that it requires a minimum Level II retension holster. Individual 1500 course of fire doesn't matter.
 
For PPC I have a Gould and Goodrich 4306 that I'll be using for duty pistol, it's a nylon/polymer Level 2 rig, still quite quick and cost about $50
