Help Needed! 8mm Mauser

Hey guys I'm new to the site, but was wondering if anyone knows where i can get some 8mm Mauser ammo (cheap surplus:reface. Just got a vz24 Mauser and can't find anything cheap to feed her. Leverarms is the only place I know of that sells 8mm surplus but the cost is too much. Thanks!

The only place you're gonna find cheaper 8mm than LeverArms is most likely in your basement, on your reloading bench...

I have a lot of it I don't need anymore that I have been hoarding for a while. Sold my Mauser so out goes the ammo as well. Selling it for cheap.

Looks like you lucked out because private hoards are going to be just about your only source.

If you bought a rifle in 8mm Mauser imagining that you would get cheap shooting you were sadly mistaken.

And when you find it, buy as much as you can afford. I'm still shooting 8mm I bought in the mid-80's while I was in high school.

No major military has used 8mm Mauser since the 60's at least. There is no milsurp 8mm Mauser, other than the corrosively(no big deal, if you flush with hot water then do a regular clean), Berdan primed, Yugoslavian stuff.
Reloading is your friend.

Is a Mauser considered a milsurp or a battle rifle? I like the old rifles but what section should we be posting about misusers?
