Hey guys.
Just picked up a Marlin Model 17G. it is a turn of the century exposed hammer shot gun which looks a bit like a model 97 whinchester but there is quite a bit of difference on the rear of the receiver from the /97. The action was seized on it when purchased,(Very Cheaply, I might add)
Got the gun dissassembled and got the action working, but it now travels too far to the rear of the receiver. It looks as though someone, over the years took the old girl apart and lost some fairly crucial peices like say a Carrier stop and screw.
What I need is a scematic of this model and a parts list. I've looked online as well as in my assembly/dissassembly manuals for this model and come up dry. If anyone can be of any assisstance it would be greatly appreciated.
