Help Needed: Rabbits / Hares Hunting Around Calgary

Hi,
i was interested in some wabbits and don't know where to go... i took my .22 up to kananaskis today looking for some, but didn't find any...
does anyone have any idea where i can find them around the calgary area... (other than my and your backyards, coz i already know that ) lol)

If you find more than you can handle, let me know. I haven't shot rabbits in Canada for a long time. Hard to beat New Zealand rabbit hunting.

Went looking for snowshoes, not much sign, with this cold weather they tend to hole up a bit, try when it warms up a bit, then they will be moving around. Jacks are running down my front street, neighbors might be a little concerned if I took a poke or two at them, ha,ha.

Was out in the west side of wiaprous (412 I believe). Saw lots and lots of tracks, but no wabbits. Hope this helps a bit.

i was in same area nw of waiparous saturday as well... also i saw lots of tracks and droppings but no rabbits... there were a couple cougar hunters in the area... there were a couple of mustangs as well
