HELP!!! Norinco m305/m14 bolt stop fails to lock the bolt

Hello everyone! On my Norinco m305, the bolt fails to lock in the rearward position when the bolt stop has been engaged, and the bolt stop also won't lock the bolt after an empty magazine is removed. Does anyone know how do I fix this problem? Any ideas? Many thanks guys!!!

Buy a new bolt stop.

I had the same problem. Replaced with USGI bolt stop, problem solved.

Be extremely careful when taking out the bolt stop pin, using a punch that is oversize can easily break the forward bolt stop boss off of the receiver. Proceed with extreme caution and due diligence.
