Help!! NP-85B or NP-40???

These guns are the same but are 9mm and .40SW I simply can't choose between them.

I've been advised that for IPSC (which the item wiil be for), it is better to go with the .40

Lots of cheap OF Brass for them both. I intend to pick up a few 9mm's of other types but I'd really like the .40

I need help guys.

first one to suggest the 1911 gets poked in the eye with a ####ty stick!

ya think .40 huh? That's where I'm leaning but it means stocking another Cal of ammo and dies.

I've got the 9mm one, its great....That being said, if the 40 is up to the same standard and you want a 40, then get the 40 !!!!!!!

Why is .40 better for IPSC?

Becuase can shoot Major or Minor Power Factor. Also you can load 40cal that it recoils less then 9mm, but still pushing out the same PF as a 9mm.

I had Two of the np 40's and had some problems and did not get a third. first one the safety worked out and hammer would only fall to 1/2 #### second the extactor pin fell out extracor went flying. generally I believe norinco's are good guns I think I just got some lemons.
