These are the first guns manufactured by the Germans when the factory at Radom got going again, using pre-war parts. The fit and finish is almost as good as the pre-war Polish Eagle guns.
Yours is a very early pistol, I can tell by the legend on the slide. The very early ones almost look pantographed. The slides in the later pistols (10,000 and then A-prefix) look more uniform (rolled).
The blue barrel is 100% authentic. It is thought that the blue-barrel guns were issued to the Kriegsmarine.
My estimate would be $1500-2000, depending on the condition of the pistol that we don’t see (barrel, rifling, etc).
Also, that grip is probably a wartime replacement. A lot of these guns have a broken RT side grip, probably from how the gun sat in its holster. Authentic Bakelite grips are still available for purshase. I still have a few spares (sorry, not for sale).
Let me know if you want to know anything specific, I could probably go on for hours.
Nice gun. I’ve owned at least two of the pre-A guns.
Here’s one of my threads on another wary gun, a C-prefix.
