Help on value of Winchester model 12-16 gauge

Yes I know it's worth what someone will pay but that's no help.

Well, I sold a 16 gauge in the same condition as yours last fall and I got $260.00 for it which included shipping. And that took some time.

OK, that gives me a starting point, I definitely got a good deal, maybe I'll try $200 plus shipping.

IMO 200 bucks at best in that condition.

I was at a sale 2 weeks ago that a reblued one in really good condition went for $300 and the guy thought he got a good deal.

Any story to go along with that 16? Looks as though it has been carried for many years, used hard but not abused, "customized" by some individual. Truck gun or possibly from a bush plane?

I just purchased a decent model 12 16 bore for 325.00 from a member on the EE. 30 years ago the same gun would have fetched 500.00 in my part of the country. Standard field models in 12 gauge with no special features ( ie; duck gun or ribs) ran around 550.00 The model 12 is a great gun but for some reason it's value has dropped.
