Bought this armalite 180b off an older gentleman in my hometown, I don't know what he used to fix it, looks like some sort of a kit. He says it has very few rounds through it which I believe looking at the internals etc. Locks up very tight, did a pretty good job fixing but looks like $hit. Comes with a scope that fits nicely on a bracket on top. What would one ask for a piece like this?

I paid enough for it....
If it's not worth anything I probably will keep it.
I just did some research and you can buy an aluminum lower for it but would be hard to get and would change the status?

Unfortunately you can't get that lower in Canada - Nodak isn't listed for export from the US, or some equivalent meaning we can't get them.

It's certainly ugly, but if it runs alright someone will buy it. I wouldn't say it's worthless, but would need to see exactly how it was fixed to say what it was worth. Heck, if you could, even grinding down those nuts and studs would go a long way towards making it look less like bubba had a one night stand with it.

Good condition 180's are selling between $1200 and $1600 on the EE, depending on how modded they are, so, less than that?

Repair it properly. If he bolted that on there to shore up the magwell then could take it off and maybe have it welded... I've also seen my autobody friend do some amazing things with fiberglass mesh and body filler. No doubt you could come up with something better than whats there.

You need the stormwerks pivot repair section for it to look better.
