Help Req- Number 1 ejector

Hello there CGN, ive got the number 1 apart to try tame down the ejector spring tension, kicks cartridges out past the butt...
I thought there would of been a easy to reach screw, instead I found the ass end of the thread, the head looks to be under the spring...
Question is how to tackle that screw to back it out?

Glad to hear you got it worked out. You can reduce that tension all the way down to extraction-only, which is nice for range use.

How do you like the #1 in .303? I had to keep one single #1 when I reduced the size of my gun collection, and almost went with the .303, but the one which I had a chance to shoot seemd to have difficulties producing decent accuracy...how's yours?
