Hello Gents

I just started playing with a Norc 305 and I am having some trouble getting the bolt to release.
The tab lever is extremely hard to lift.(almost impossible with a finger)
When it is released it is not jammed or stiff at all
I doubt this is normal
Can anyone point me in the right direction
Thanks

Sounds normal to me....When changing mags its easier to just pull the cocking handle back to release it and to allow the bolt to go forward and load a new round.

Got a friend who knows how to weld?
If so get a little piece of metal the same width and make it double high as the bolt release and weld it on. Much easier to manipulate that the original design. Hence why alot of other people buy add on parts like an extended bolt release.

Extended bolt release is awesome if you're doing "combat" reloads where you don't take your hand off the grip. That's about the only advantage. Other than that just use the cocking handle

Two ways around all this:

1) Been said up above :D .... weak hand reaches (or strong right hand cants rifle over) and slaps back op rod

2) Install NEA or Smith aftermarket bolt stop (very tacticool points), and work it like your AR15

:D

There, does that help?

;)Here is a thought-
When running a match, have a sort of handicap system, and award extra points in the agg. for tactikewlery.
Mirror Kommandos with all the bells, whistles and bobbleheaded dolls on their carbines will be able to pick up points to compensate for lesser shooting skills.
Costume could also be included.
:D
