Paul_T CGN Ultra frequent flyer Rating - 100% 59 0 0 Location B.C. Interior Sep 1, 2023 #2 M94/14 - yes. Steel nose ring and bayonet lug added after 1914. J.V. (Paul Jacques R. Virgin) was the inspector at the Carl Gustaf Rifle Factory from 1905 to 1911 so this was a 96 converted to 96/14. The serial number falls within the range of what is in the Dutchman's database http://dutchman.rebooty.com/94swede.html Nice looking rifle, how is the bore? Stock disc is stamped 3 so has been around a bit. Last edited: Sep 1, 2023

I've had a lot of Mausers and the M38 short rifle is the only one I really miss, they're lovely shooters. Hopefully yours headspaces OK.
