Help to identify grips

Got these from a friend who got them in his grandfathers estate. Appreciate any help to identify thanks

Probably early Enfield. 38 revolver grips.

They are from a fairly large revolver as they are 3 1/2" tall by 2" wide at the bottom. Didn't know where to start on a Google search. Will try Enfield. Thanks

First pattern checkered grips for Enfield No2 MkI .38" revolver made 1930-35.
