Help us pick engraving for huglu combo!

The scroll is generally pleasing. The ducks look fine with or without gold colour as suits your preference. The buzzard type bird is very crude, like something a child would draw. The mythical lion?? is not appropriate on a nice double shotgun and best forgotten. The mountains depicted look like inverted ice cream cones, obviously designed by a flatland art student. Please stick with realistic images or forget them altogether and just go with tasteful well executed scroll. I would far sooner have no engraving at all or minimal good quality engraving, either one coupled with a subdued case coloured finish than yet another junky, cheap looking gun. Lipstick on a pig. Now the WOOD on these samples hints at something special.

I like the second from the top and the last one.

The gold inlaid birds and lions are done very poorly and give a tacky look to a otherwise nice gun. The scroll work is done very nicely and compliments the walnut. My vote goes to the side plated versions with the scroll work. I would be interested in a 28ga 410 combo so long as it's made on a baby frame.

Second SXS from the bottom. I like the side plates in particular that give it the look of a side lock gun

No opinion on the O/U since they don't interest me

In all honesty I'd probably go for an unadorned case hardened type. I'm not a fancy man.

I do not like any of them.Look cheap and cheese to me.Up side I am not buying one so opinion means nothing.More subtle less cheese.

Please tell me this combo will be available in a 12 gauge O/U configuration.
If so, I'm in 100%!!

Last design at the bottom is the classiest and most timeless.
I would take it with a very good quality dark-ish walnut.
30" barrel with chokes.

If this combi wants to get really classy! Have the option of getting in a leather case with felt interior (leather locking straps to match).

But to get back to the initial question... #2, #4, #7, #11 and #15 being my favorite!
