My brother-in-law busted the firing pin somehow in my Winchester 1300, and I had an EE ad asking for a replacement. My gun is newer, and had the newer ribbed style pin as seen here.

I put an ad on the EE and have been offered an older-style one has seen here.

Will they interchange? I'm guessing, no. I used to have a 1200 and wish I still had the whole bolt.

Call western and see if you can get the proper one? Not sure if they would work you need the proper dimensions of each.

Looking at the 2 . I would be more concerned that newer one has a longer stepped shaft . if I recall 1200 has a washer a head of the pin spring that acts as a spring stop and also helps center the pin tip to the bolt face . if the 1300 is the same you may require the washer that fits the new pin .ps a quick look at numrich shows that the 1200/1300/1400 all use the same pin .however your existing firing pin is the new style found in guns with a post 400 000 serial number . the other is a pre 400 000 serial number pin . possiblely not interchangeable .

Yeah, I had a 1200 for years and I remember there were several differences in the bolt.

Any firing pin made from 1965 to about 2000 will work fine it's not rocket science and likely ones after 2000 I have plenty of them I answered your and but it got all compacted
