Help with .357 magnum

id64, i would suggest changing your grip technique.

Your support hand thumb is forward, like shooting a semi-auto. Your video shows that your thumb is very close to being short a thumbnail if your grip shifts a little bit in the wrong direction. Maybe use a high thumb hold when shooting revolvers...specially full power .357s.

Told you Lil'Gun will perform!!
I just love it for full power loads in the 357, 41 and 44 mags.
Not saying H110 isn't good, I just think Lil'Gun is better.

I saw a thread with pictures showing the shooter's thumb blown away, that was with a S&W 460 or 500, IIRC. Disgusting pics.

Ironically, a few months later, I made the same mistake shooting the GP100. Nowhere close to losing the thumb, but it was black with powder burn and with residue, didn't let out a whimper....maybe because the firing line was full, good thing nobody noticed my stupidity:D

Not funny at all.

Re: Li'l Gun...yes this reloading tables show this powder produces highest velocity within acceptable pressure limits. My next magnum powder.
 
With an adjusted grip, you can use your support-hand thumb to shoot single, too - much faster than using your trigger hand to #### the gun
 
No reason to fear the gun, just respect it.:) When I shoot revolvers I cross my thumbs, strong hand normal hold, and the weak hand thumb sits about half way over the strong, making an x. Not sure if it's bad form but it keeps the thumb out of the way.
