I'm looking for a turkey choke for a Hatsan Escort magnum semi auto. The tubes that came with it are stamped V3. I've looked on several websites and some imply that all Hatsans take the Benelli/Beretta Mobil tubes, however the images do not reflect the tubes for my gun. One site, Trulock breaks the Hatsan chokes down by V number, but they do not carry a turkey choke, just an extra full.

I know the difference between extra full and turkey is small, but I was hoping to find the best choke for the job, just in case. Does anyone know where I can get a turkey choke for this gun?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, Galamb!

Unfortunately, his site only leads to one of the generic "a hatsan is a hatsan" sites; the chokes featured there are the wrong style.

I do sincerely appreciate the help, though!

Hi, I have a Hatsan and was looking at after market chokes as well. It took a lot of digging but I found a forum that said they take Remington chokes. I haven't bought one yet but judging by the lengths and thread style it looks like they match. If you try a REM choke report back and tell us how it fits.

My first thought after plunking around the web was that they looked a LOT like Remington chokes, too. I took my choke to Cabella's yesterday and it looks quite a bit like a Remington choke, but the threaded portion on the Rem is longer than the Hatsan (or is it the other way round?). A Remington choke would end up protruding from the barrel about 1/4 inch. I don't own a Remington, is there more than one style?

The search continues!!
