Help with a Model 100 ( anyone near North Bay?)

Well maybe this should go in gunsmithing, but I figured it would get more views here. I have to install a new extractor on my Winchester Model 100 and it is a very tough job. Small parts, springs etc. I tried for several hours and after nearly losing the parts multiple times, I just want to get it in before deer season. Any trick to this? Or even better, anyone around North Bay know what they are doing with this and wants to help? Compensation in the form of beer available.

I have owned and used a M-100 for a lot of years and I can strip one down and reassemble one with the best of them. But the replacement of the extractor out of a M-100 bolt I have never had need to do. That is an odd breakage. No use in asking how that happened, it's happened and needs replaced. I take it you have the new part. There must be some sort of gunsmith in the North Bay area that can tackle the job on eve of deer hunting season. I would lend you mine for the week but I am 4hrs south of you. You could try Rob Wise in Washago. He is a bit of a drive south but he may be able to do it ASAP.
 
Thanks mrgoat. I know a guy around here I can call and see if he has time. The LGS here is busy as heck and the gun smith said he has never worked on M100 extractors before.
 
Use a small punch to depress the extractor plunger, slide the extractor towards the firing pin hole and ease the plunger so that it doesn't go flying. install the new extractor in reverse order by depressing the plunger and easing the extractor over the plunger until the pointed tip engages the detent hole.
 
No idea. I bought it here on CGN and when it took it out for its first range trip it never once extracted a round. Upon inspecting the bolt, the extractor was missing. Contacted the seller and they had taken it out to the range 2 days before mailing it and it was working fine then. We split on the cost of a new extractor assembly.
