help with a old weaver

hey guys i have an old weaver wide view scope and i cant get the eye piece off. i can un-thread it 3/4 of the way off then it jams...... what do i have to get it the rest of the way off?

I had the same problem. what has happened is the fine threads have broken and are jamming the remaining threads. I could not get it off without forcing the issue. What I had gained was nothing. Ruined the scope which I was taking apart to see how it worked. Oh well live and learn I guess. Maybe some one else will have a solution.
