Hey guys, just looking for a little help with the look cool factor of a new shotgun my wife just bought me.

It's a remmington 870 express magnum "tactical". Very nice little shotgun.
I wanna have a little fun and dump some money into it.

I'm looking at replacing the stock with a pistol grip, putting weaver mounts on it. Picking up a holosight (or another sight someone can recommend? Never used one for a shotgun). Put a heatshield on the barrel and maybe replace the forestock with one of the ones that a light in it.

Has anyone tinkered around with this stuff before? Does anyone have any websites where I could look at picking up some of these attachments or idea's on what might work better?

Cheers

Swing a dead cat and you'll hit a mall ninja in here :D

IMHO the coolest upgrade you can do for an 870 is the addition of an M4 stock adaptor. Then top it with either a Holosight (EOTech) or Aimpoint. A Surefire forestock, ala the 870 MAX from Remington ( one on this shotty http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41162 ), is another add-on that you really should have. A Surefire green laser (jackyiscxd is selling these in the exchange forum http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25770 ) is a nice touch as well. I also saw a cool stand-off device that Rick Timmins (Alberta Tactical Rifle) has on his shotgun for breaching. Then a side saddle and a CQB style sling and you should be ready to tactically intervene in any situation.

Hey thanks for the reply. When I clicked on the two links it refused me access to the page. I'm guessing it's the "insufficient privileges" or something.

I've done a little searching on my own but I only seem to come up with American companies. Getting stuff through the border is retarded so I'm aiming to skip the hassel and find a Canadian company, probably out west.

I've seen the M4 stock before, very nice. I'm torn between that and a solid stock with pistol grip. The top folding stocks are pretty nice too but then you run into the OAL being below 26inchs or whatever it is.

Is there any way I can catch those links somehow?
